About DarkSecret
DarkSecret lets you solve fictional criminal cases by reading documents, talking to characters and comparing evidence. The whole game runs in your browser.
What makes up an investigation
We create separate detective stories whose answers emerge from comparing case materials with the accounts of the people involved. Each case has its own objectives and an explanation that opens after your final report.
The documents, statements and interface are available in Armenian, English and Russian. You can switch languages and continue the same investigation.
The cases are fictional
The characters, organisations, documents and events are fictional. Stories may be set in real cities. Some cases mention murder, violence or threats; check the content notes on each case page. Players must be 16 or older.
The Beta
Every published case and tool is free during the beta. An account saves your progress. If something does not work or the wording is unclear, tell us which page or case you were using.
